Her indoors says I'm getting too cynical.!

An advert came on the TV for a sale at some shop or other ,at the end it said in big letters " YOU MUST ACT NOW... OFFER MUST END ON "..... some date .

All I said was " Why must it end?" "Will they be arrested ?" "Will the place explode if the offer extends another day ?" " Will the SPECIAL OFFER police come bursting in ,waving batons and tazer all the employees "

We all know they will have another one straight after. :C

I've always been cynical and pedantic. My mum has a story from when I started school around 5 year old and the teacher showed us a picture of a 'boat' for the letter B. I put my hand up and told the teacher that it wasn't a boat, it was clearly a yacht as it had a sail.

Don't start me on schools I still have some bad karma from primary school .

1. We 're about 9 yrs old , teacher asks Why are there locks on canals ,when no one answered I stuck my hand up and said " So you can go up and down hills,Miss"

To which she answered " Don't be stupid " ,got all the kids to laugh at me and came up with some other answer.

2. Same teacher ,another day, goes round the class asking what our fathers did for a living. Come my turn I said "A millwright Miss" Oh and what does a millwright do ,We've never heard of that have we children ? I'm 9 yrs old , I had to say " I don't know Miss " Cue orchestrated laughter and " Oo fancy not knowing what your father does "

Some teachers just shouldn't be there. Not that I held a grudge for the last 100 years .

You should have said he was a lockkeeper when asked what your father did, then when she asked what a lockkeeper does you could have replied that you where told that it was to let boats go up and down hills but as you had told that earlier you where stupid then your Dad did not know what he did for a living and also must be stupid.
