Down Light Wire Issue

converting some mr 16 lamps yesterday to led with drivers all good till i came to the last four i a different room

fittings already led 3 watt but on dropping fitting found to be wired in alarm cable advised on rewiring but i could not locaie power source

as upstairs room above tiled floor as any body come across this type of wire type used on extra lv

if the distance isnt very long then id have thought the alarm cable if one cable per lamp would be ok for just led.

circuit was wired as loop in loop out not one cable per fitting also not a lot clearance between ceiling  and upper floor around 60 mm so a tight fit for standard mr 16 lamp

so the joists were only 2 inch or so joists was it a loft space originally?

Upper floor tiled........not insulated between joists is it, hence the 60mm?

its a barn conversion so part celling were down lights are must be part of original floor slab 

above going to get a inspection cam up there to have a look a wire route if possible
