Called to local town council offices.

"we had a refurb done on two of our offices & partially removed the stud wall . Now we are using the office we've discovered that one of the lights doesn't work at all, health & safety dept have picked it up as an issue & we need it sorting asap"

Dropped in this morning sure enough the single light switch just inside the office only operates 1 of the lights, so I stroll across to the partially removed stud wall find 2nd light switch (where a door would have been for old office layout) & turn it on .... hey presto on comes the other light.

How embarrassed was the contracts bloke Applaud Smiley:^O

My bill for stupidity is double the normal charge:p

Heh heh :D So you didn't offer to change it to two points on two-way? ]:)
Of course I did ;) ...but like everything else with councils it's gotta be quoted for first....so the first job of the new year I think will be a little rejig of the lighting for them Guiness Drink

Sounds right for council personnel completely stupid.

Around where I live the council want to close 12+ local libraries, sports centres etc to save
