update: just been on phone and police are very interested ...i have an incident umber and report to station on thursday

believe me if i could cut his b*****ks off i would !!I think i may take this to the CAB but i am pretty sure that my contract will be strongly biased in his favour (because he is like that)

He is a one-man band and his wife is his secretary...

They will say that i was dismissed through gross misconduct...simply whenever i conveyed work to his "secretary " she would not pass the work on and i subsequently went out and did the pat testing myself .

Passing paperwork onto my boss once a week .

I was instructed to do this by my boss himself!

This was not a problem and went on for a few weeks until....

Upon arriving at a job my former boss was waiting and (along with 3 other men) said that i was trying to work by myself !

I must stress i was wearing the company uniform and had paperwork already prepared to submit to the company and was using company tools ,ie: pat tester etc... he had none of it and it became apparent to me that it was setup to dismiss me ...hey presto 2 days later his nephew is in my job.

Out of my wages he took costs for tools that i never had, protective clothing that i never had, and did not reinburse any fuel costs .

My wages amounted to

Looking good mate, and then if the normal procedure fails then get him to go see your friend pain! And if your a bit lanky like me, just throw a box of clout nails on his drive once a week untill you feel better.

Id say read your contract of employment very closely, I believe you will find alot of what he has deducted for he cannot unless your contract says he can

contract probably does because hes very strict on that...i will check though....it didnt dawn on me either until i started writing to you guys on here...that he also took a photo of me on the same day as i was dismissed...used the excuse that he was preparing an i.d badge i was suppose to wear ...smelling a rat here!! anyway in the police hands now

my signature , my address my photo i was thinking identity fraud ...anyway like i say its with the police now bad day explode

Im not so sure the Police would be interested as its most probably a civil case not criminal. I would defo go see a solicitor and think you would have a case for unfair/constructive dismissal. He will lie probably all the way through but if you be honest and fight it to the end justice should be served. If its not ... weigh him him with some armoured round the head. (bit of 10mm should do the trick lol)Cheers
I would report him to the Police as he has Fraudently used your signature.

How were you paid ???

were you cis or paye ????

just wondering for my next post on this ;)

yes i could ...but with my previous dealings with her majestys revenue i learnt that they will prob say its my responsibility etc etc ....

I am more concerned with the identity fraud (if its the case) and stopping him from using my signature to sign off below standard work .

Steve

you missed my point,,,,, its about revenge,,,its a total ball ache for him,,,you dont need to tell them your name,, anonymous.

if he is that much of a tw@t to you then he must be the same to the taxman

yes i agree and i would love nothing more!!

dont think he is going to get away with it ...the police were most interested and i think if the work is investigated so will the niciec , thats just for starters....afterall he did say to me when he dimissed me " it aint finished yet"

...under his breath whilst he walked away ...well i aint finished yet!

if he had been fair and paid my money and been so silly to forge my signature then none of this would have to be done...i am just protecting myself Wet Fish

i will now just do some p.a.t testing for now to get by until i find employment ...just gotta get some software for the results and i am off the mark :)

simple ...keep it simple lol

Steve , keep on to the NICEIC too , put your concerns in writing, as long as they are true you have nothing to fear, they are supposed to exist to protect the customer from **** like this , specially a children's home. If they try to kick you into touch, write to the Electrical Safety Council , they own the NICEIC.

I'm amazed that the police are interested, did he park on a yellow line too !!!

Hello Steve, have you got a photocopy of the certificate with your 'alleged' signature on it? Also I thought you were meant to be given written warnings before dismissal from employment. Best to speak to someone with a specialism in employment law.

Doc H

i was dismissed on the spot for " gross misconduct"

and i will be contacting the niceic .

i have this evening spoken to the care home manager and he informs me that the form is signed and my name written underneath.

he has indeed forged my signature.

The home manager has promised me that he will keep the copy safe and knows that the police are now involved.

he said he will comply with whatever i want to do...he is as unhappy as i am .

:C

Would be a good idea to actually get some photo copies just in case they disapear before any actions are taken by either party involved.

And if possible get them counter signed by the childrens home Manager.
