Hi from North East

Hi everyone, Im new to the forum, but have seen it is a good way to get information on becoming an electrician. Im currently studying a BTEC adv DIP in Electrical Installation lvl 3. Pretty basic course on electrical installation.

I come from New Zealand and moved to teesside with my wife. Not much sawmills up here, so i decided to retrain as a sparky.

I have a little practical experience, such as sockets and loop in/loop out. And Im keen as to get more experience. Im currently looking for any practical experience in the north east area surrounding middlesbrough. Any information anyone can give me would choice.

By the way, I think sparkys have a way harder job over here than in New Zealand. Most walls are timber framed with cavities. Even external walls. lol.
