Still don't want a smart meter. With or without an isolator
seen normal style meters with split bottom cover and built in isolator a few times. very rare though

Its the isolator that impressed me , it wasn't a smarty-arse meter as far as I remember . Job from about 3 yrs ago.
They register all electricity the same. i.e they measure export as import and so costs the client money to run their PV.
It's a normal meter @Blue Duck just has a built in 'contractor isolator'. Should have a normal seal though, not a flag as flags aren't technically available to normal people (as far as I'm aware anyway)

Those have been standard issue in the Scottish bit of SSE land for years, I have commented on them before. It is unusual to see the output terminals sealed up here.
However that looks to be a dual rate meter judging by the number of connections, now that IS rare, all the dual rate meters up here don't have the inbuilt isolator.

since its the customer side, it doesnt really need any seal
