Iphone V Samsung Galaxy S3

Hi,

I've got a iPhone which is not bad but a pals got an s3 and the camera and screen is much better than the iPhone I think.

Just wondered what you guys thought and if anyone can give some good/bad feedback on the s3 against the iPhone

I have an S2 and have compared it to the Iphone for pictures and screen quality and have found it to be better than the I phone nd the s3 is suposed to be even better

I have the I phone 4 and iPad three have had them a year now would not be without them.

iPhone/ pad have a lot more apps and I find the camera not bad quality iPads camera is better.

IMHO iWhatevers are sold mostly on the name and style rather than how they work and perform

I'd go with the S3 any day of the week if it was me,,,, oh and the size doesn't feel so big after a few days

Im not 'into' phones that much if it does it job well im happy, I have a 4s and its fine and seems to be lasting the distance which most phones cant with me.  there may be phones with better screens and whatever but they may bring problems with them.  Mine does its job with no fuss so much so that when im up for a new one in a few months i may stick with another 4s rather than the extra expense of the 5

Saying that Im a fan of most things samsung.

I'm using the S3 (as ell as the BB & BPB) and have no complaints at all. But then I cant compare it to the iphone as I've never used one...............but the iphone so I'm told uses samsung drivers & screen, but not those they use on the S3.

I have an old Android X10i and a 3GS, the niece has an S3 , the wires friends kid has a 4something and an iPad mini, the wife has a normal phone and a blackberry playbook,

My 3GS faster internet but worse screen than my X10i, the S3 has faster internet and massively better screen than the 4 which is only slightly better than my X10i, and the wifes playbook waaaaaaay outperforms the iPad mini on everything we have tried on them yet.

Oh,, forgot to say that the Galaxy S3's GPS lock speed is super quick, loaded and locked on by the time my mates iPhone4s had even loaded up the nav software

I am and always have been Apple mad......until now. Just changed my iPhone to the HTC One X + and it spanks the iPhone all over the place. Synchs with all my Apple stuff, has a 64gb internal memory, amazing camera and a quad core 1.7ghz processor. Really makes it the hottest phone out there and its a dream to use. I got mine with free Dr Dre beats headphones and if you haven't listened to them - do! I have two sets and they are both awesome!

I have listened to the Dr dre headphones and find them to be average at best TBH,

Really cant see what is about them, maybe they make rap sound good, but that would take a miracle of biblical proportions imo.

I have a pair of sony+s sound just as good for less than half the price.

There is a big difference between the low-end Beats and the higher-end versions and they really come into their own after they have 'bedded' in. I don't listen to rap but have a very eclectic musical taste and they sound much better than all the headphones I have had / tried in the same price bracket including BOSE & Sennheiser. There are a lot of fakes around and as such the sound quality is no where near that of an original pair.

I think a lot of the problem is that most of the music the kids listen to is mp3, no matter how good the headphones are, its never going to sound good on mp3 [i dont think]

the ones I listened too were iro £200 if Im to believe what I was told,  :shakehead

my own headphones were iro £30 iirc, and I baulked at that TBH.........

As with everythink headphones are only as good as the EARS that listen through them.

MP3 is fine, it's the quality that matters. 320kbps is as good as it gets and any headphone will just replicate sound - good or bad. If you listen to music at 120 kbps then it will sound poor on great headphones.

oh, didnt know that, I thought mp3 was mp3,

I keep most of my stuff in .flac way better than normal mp3 that I have had.
