Kva Test

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone had ever carried out a KVA test and you could potientally carry this type of test out, I have been asked to carry one but I have never come across this type of test before any help would be appreicated

Simply means a load test.  If single-phase load measure I and V and multiply.  Answer is in VA so divide by 1000 to get kVA.

If 3-ph balanced load, multiply I line by 1.732 then by line voltage.  Answer in VA.  Divide by 1000 to get kVA.
