led downlights and insulation

What stops us from covering led downlights with insulation, these would be in a fire rated cannister by the way.... Not saying I do it but what stops us doing it....?

Aurora do a full range of fire and insulation rated which include halogen and led

JCC LED7 and Aurora Sola i9 can be covered in insulation

I still don't understand why not!! The LEDs are not even close to warm so is it such a crime to cover regardless???
