Light switches causing electronics to trip

Hi, I'm having an ongoing issue with my electronics playing up. Every time I turn on or off the bathroom light outside my room all my electronics trip and turn off for a second. The lights are on a separate circuit. I've tried using a UPS (box with a battery pack to keep the power on), but it didn't help. I've also tried using a different plug socket for all of my electronics, which didn't work either. I assume it's some sort of interface? The only thing I know which links them all together is the telephone line/Ethernet. I've taken a video of my problem (you can see the keyboard turning off). Any help is appreciated, as this is really frustrating!

Sorry about the double post, but it's also worth noting that it affects more than one device (my tele, keyboard, computer), and also that it doesn't happen /all/ the time, but it does happen most of the time.
