i fit crabtree mostly. but the fact still remains that a double socket only has to be made to take 13A between both outlet, and as such, many cheaper brands (i.e what DIYers fit) will not be able to handle that current as good as other makesI do not know what cheap crap you fit but I would expect any double socket to handle 2 13A loads without issue. Anything less would constitute a fire risk.
