new net book and ubuntu

Hello chaps, I have just bought a net book so i can install tysoft easycert for taking on site. my question is that i have downloaded unbutu on to a flash drive. I like the look of it but the internet explorer did not run. My main question is would you recommend installing with windows or replace windows altogether? or can i run it with windows for now and replace at a later date.Or do i just install wubi.

or run a VB (virtualbox) under Ubuntu,

that will depend on your hardware if it is capable of that though.

tysoft doesnt like running under wine, its gets confused with the .dll files IIRC, I have tried it, not good results, runs fine in VB though.

can you post some specs of your HW please badfish.?
