why do you have a diagram as PDF? surely it would be better as jpeg or similar
I thought you were going to say why do you have a diagram for parallel PIR's to same load? Just common all the Sw Lives together then to the load surely.

Doc H.

there are about 14 lights and 2 sets of 2 PIRs. so i used that way to override all the lights. and i now have seen i have done it a hard way.. well harder. just wondered what u all thought of my way

why is this not in the student section?

its a basic question asking how to do a basic thing,

ie, how do I connect a switch?

thats all a PIR is, a switch,

:C

not really asking how to do it. as my diagram suggest i can do it. i was asking if any one has done it like that. as i no there are different ways of wiring over ride and pir switches

how would you isolate the lights for maintenance I would use a mid position switch
