Pneumatic Time Delay Switch

Hi,

Is it possible to wire a pneumatic time lag/delay switch the wrong way round. So that when you depress the button it switches the lights off for a set period of time rather than on?

I need to have 10 seconds of darkness for a game. Is it a case of just wiring the switch backwards?

I always thought of them with normally open & normally closed contacts, and never as Andy quite correctly said 2 way  :Salute
