Have you bought them? What do you think of them.
I am "shopping" around and what I like with Sunsynk it is a Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery that allows 100% discharge and 10years warranty.
No m8. I didn't bother with the sunsynk. I ended up ordering the pylontech

Yeah. I've noticed the communication is a little hit and miss plus it's like the Chinese websites. They raise a E ticket.
Just to update so people know what they are in for... my batteries are now due in October!!... Not very impressed with an additional 3 months delay... will bring the total delivery time to over 6 months.

Unfortunately none of the suppliers seem to have stock of batteries... at least my panels are up and getting decent production, it's just a shame I can't store any of it.

Is China still on covid lockdown?

What batteries are those?

Parts of it... but it shouldn't cause an additional 3 month delay. I ship to and from China in a weekly basis, costs have gone crazy over the last couple of years and there have been some big delays but I suspect this is more that they simply cannot meet the demand and there is probably some over selling going on to get the orders.

PylonTech US5000... tempted to grab a couple more from another supplier, can't see the price dropping so can always re-sell but none of the suppliers seem to have stock and delivery times are always "estimated and may change"

Constant delays and rescheduling of deliveries is the new norm. Part of the reason I can't be bothered with returning to the solar industry. The last job I did I ended up with different panels and inverter just to get the job done.

Unfortunately it's everywhere, we manufacture in the UK and the supply chain for most components was ruined in the lockdowns. We planned well ahead and stocked up on everything, often buying at what was a premium and is now considered cheap.

as the saying goes “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”

Maybe I'll see what a shipment of batteries direct from Pylontech comes in at ;)

What are the reasons you did not bother with Sunsynk?
Mainly after asking on this forum nobody had used them and the cost was on par with pylontech which have a good reputation for reliability and value for money.

Ordered a Pylontech US3000C on 20th June from a UK supplier.

Advised on 6th July that the ship had docked , and that it would be a further 2 weeks to unload, clear customs, and be delivered.

So I'm hoping by the end of July.

The website shows next deliveries will be in September.

Which supplier??

Just been on the it's technology website and they are saying the 2.4kw pylontech battery's will be available in 7 days 13 hours 😁

Was planning to give them a call tomorrow and see what they have coming in first. I'm starting to think ITS have resold the units I pre-ordered at a higher price because an additional 3 month delay is crazy.

Might just be a lack of the us5000's tho
I suppose it's possible but I doubt a large company would benefit from the negative feedback sumat like that could create
I emailed ITS about 2 week ago asking if the date on the website was the new delivery date and they confirmed no. It was just for new orders and as far as they are aware the shipment should arrive as scheduled.
so hopefully I should be hearing next week over the us5000

Please do keep us informed, like I say I ordered 2 * US5000 at the end of April, checked with them last week (14 July) and they are now saying October 1st.

Their order page still shows September 8th delivery for the US5000 so really don't know what to think.
