Hello guys!

I have 2 storage heaters(Dimplex) on the same Mcb.The wattage of the heaters is 2x2340.The Mcb is 20A.At every 2 days the mcb is tripping.

what should i do, apart to alocate a mcb to every heater?Should i put a 32A instead of 20A?

A friend said something about a RCBO.Any advices?

what sized cable is supplying the heater soul? 2.5mm or 4mm?

I am 95% sure is a 2.5.

If thats the case I would have 1 storage heater running off of one MCB, not 2 heaters off of the one MCB.

As above. Add another RCD and split them onto 2 circuits. This is the recommended way of doing it anyway.

i will check tomorrow if is a 2.5 or a 4 mm.If i add one more MCB in the CU should i do any calculations?

And,what if the cable is A 4 mm?

2 20A MCBs/RCBO's should be fine, with either 2.5mm or 4mm cable soul.

2X20MCBs should be fine then.One for each heater.
