Replacement accesories above sinks

Have got to do a quote for a kitchen where i will need to replace 2 switched fused spurs directly above a sink drainer in the utility room. Is this acceptable for me to do or do they need moving? The circuit already has 30ma rcd protection.

There is no regulation stating how close anything is installed near a kitchen sink....

Just your own judgment & consideration of external influences..?

good practice recommends 300mm....

Are the existing Spurs full of water?

do they have any serious signs of water damage?

have they failed due to water/damp issues?

have the homeowners every reported any problems with them due to water?

I'd say you were OK with that one Gordy , never the best idea but nothing in the Regs .
