Screwy's Screwed Up Pricing

So ordering some downlights for a job to match some the customer has already supplied.

But buy them individually for only £6.33 each http://www.screwfix.com/p/lap-fire-rated-fixed-led-downlight-ip20-gloss-white-2-5w/3701f

What am I missing? they are the same thing thing aren't they?

I only need 8, but assumed it would be cheaper to buy a box of 10 and have 2 spares. good job I checked.

They have different part numbers but I cannot see a difference.

The fire rating on the single fitting says - 30, 60, 90 min and on the 10 pack says - 90 min.

cant see any difference either other than the price. maybe they have put an offer on the singles but not on the 10 pack?

I've seen the 10way MK Sentry consumer units with 2 different part no.s & prices for what seems to be exactly the same thing

I assume you are logged in as an Electricfix customer with just the Ex-Vat prices showing. If you just view the standard Screwfix site the multipack is listed as £99.99 and the individual items are listed as £9.99 with 20% off reduced to £7.99 each. I would agree with Pewter that the LEDs that come with the fittings are not very bright at all 220lumens.

If you just view the standard Screwfix site the multipack is listed as £99.99 and the individual items are listed as £9.99 with 20% off reduced to £7.99 each. I would agree with Pewter that the LEDs that come with the fittings are not very bright at all 220lumens.

That would explain it, so the individual ones are on sale, the 10 pack is not.

I haven't tried them yet, if they turn out to be too dim that's the customers problem, they chose them.
