Alrighty.  New to the forum and New to the job.

Not sure if it has been asked on here already but my question is around seasonal trends for Domestic Electricians.  I have seen a lot of data about the busy periods for roofers, gas engineers, landscape gardeners etc but nothing at all for Domestic Electricians.  Could anyone shed some light on what times of year we are likely to see peaks and troughs and the reasons for it?

Welcome.

Personally there is usually a mad rush before Xmas with a dip after the new year while everyone catches their breath.  Same again at the end of March when the financial year ends and everyone is trying to spend their budgets with April slowing down.

I also see the pre Christmas rush, usually starting in November. I refer to it as the "silly season"  It happens every year without fail.  And then it all goes a bit quiet in January.

Thanks guys.  Been a big help.  Finalising my business plan to submit for startup funding.  Little details like this will show that I have thought things through thoroughly and will likely help my case.

On another note....anyone around the Glasgow area in need of an extra pair of hands?  :B-
