smoke alarms on cu change

when changing a cu with existing smoke alarms. do you have to issue a seperat cert for them.

No is the short answer, just do the usual testing of all circuits.

The smoke alarms are tested as fit at installation, you are just testing the circuit and not the smokes when changing a cu.

I wouldnt say so Tom. if you havnt actually installed them and if you havnt been requested to test them. You will of course have to I & T the suppies to them.
