If you wire an alarm circuit into a CCU and then put it on the light circuit should this be a Minor Works Cert or an EIC as a new circuit that has been added into the CCU?
so if its connected on the same mcb as the lighting circuit its defined as MWC so would you need to do a Zs on them both as separated circuits?MWC. by definition of circuit, you havent added a new one

Ok then its a MWC to be issued. thanksread definition of circuit in part 2
read definition of circuit in part 2
It is multiple final circuits it should be on its own protective device.
Yes two final circuits.no it’s not.
the circuit are the cables from the OCPD
What is a final circuit then.

Why do you keep saying read Part 2. Each final circuit shall be connected to its own protective device, the alarm circuit is defined as a final circuit and no amount of 'read part 2' will alter that.
Not at home to quote the Regulation but you say I am wrong then quote me the Regulation where it is acceptable to connect two final circuits to a single protective device.Sorry mate but you really have this wrong. If an OCPD has 2 cables in it, and its not a RFC, both cables form the circuit.
If you think we are all wrong please offer up your reference in the BB to clarify this.
