am i the only one who doesnt own one?!
Even I have 2 of them!

Got the cheap Bosch greem PMT (or something). Not in the slightest bit tempermental. Dosn't break down for no reason 1 week in 4............

Then bought the Fein cordless. Use it at work for removing synthetic casts. Amazing tools.

its one of them things that you can do without for ever,

as soon as you get one you wonder how you ever worked without it,

makes light work of a lot of things,

but,

also not all its made out to be, IMHO

still not worth cutting floorboards etc IMO

just get the rip-saw out and do it in 5secs,.

still, Im at a loss as to how I struggled for 20years without one,

but, could still do another 20 if I didnt have it.

Fein overpriced. Don't use mine a lot, but when it is needed it's brill, like plunge cutting into sides of kitchen units to fit socket. The lad seems to have acquired mine and seems reluctant to return it.

On my recent rewire the fein I have was invaluable. Used for getting boards up in awkward places there are places you just can't get a circular saw in, I also used it for cutting some existing metal conduits that needed shortening. I think they are great only downfall is cost of blades but time is money so if they save you time that is a good thing.
