wander leads

I know there is a lot of talk of wander leads on the forum, i am going to put these into stock: question is will any one be interested in them?

Main benifit is it leaves both hands free, cable is a better grade and it reels better than the other models we keep, it will be competitively priced.

By the way if you can't see it has a belt to clip around your waist.

Looks a good idea, just as long as no one trips over the lead and pulls you off your steps when doing R2 on a chanderlier!!

made a lead years ago from long length of single 1mm and a couple of croc clips. Not as pretty but works well enough - disposable and cheap.

So how are these leads then Mark?

Just for your ref. I have the KEW version, and I don't use this every day so another would be doubtful, mind it does look useful.

I thought about the cost of materials to make one up, quite small, the time to gather those materials together, quite small, & my time to make this, not very long, however, when I thought about what I could charge that time taken out to customers at, I bought a lead when I was next at the wholesalers!

So IMHO they are worthwhile buying when you consider the package you get against the overall time you spend making one up.

I feel unable to form any opinion on the leads because the pic is too small to see.

The only other leads I've seen are getting on for a ton apiece. Way too much. Something for about 30 quid would be more like it. Otherwise I'll stick with my 20m of Maplin ultra flexible single.
