I feel unable to form any opinion on the leads because the pic is too small to see.The only other leads I've seen are getting on for a ton apiece. Way too much. Something for about 30 quid would be more like it. Otherwise I'll stick with my 20m of Maplin ultra flexible single.

I have a kewteck one, and use it all the time, very handy on periodics and checking bonds that are a good distance from the CU, etc.

So if it did become damaged in the future, I would consider one of these belt mounted ones as a replacement

I got the 30m one from isswww when I bought my 1552 and only annoying thing with it is trying to recoil it once unwound. It's got a handle on the side but with the cable coming out side of reel can be a right pita to recoil.

I know what you mean m4tty, ALL cable reels need a cable guide to stop exactly what your describing.... Problem is, only a very few manufacturers ever provide them on there reels....
