Looks to me as if you don't have a neutral at the switch so no it won't work. If you connect the neutral to the earth you'll trip the RCD

All you have is a permanent live, a switched live and an earth...
No neutral!

Choose a different smart switch that does not need a neutral. Some work by charging a battery from L / SL when the load is turned off.

the switch isn't suitable for the wiring you have. you need to either replace the wiring or the switch

Shouldn't the SonOff be installed in the ceiling behind the rose, where L, N and E are available ?
