Hi , ive only joined this forum as i was needing some advice and help . I have aqcuired some electrical items which i bought as a job lot a few months ago , i dont know much about electrical items , i just buy and sell anything i come across , anyway in this job lot ive got 3 Merlin Gerin RH10m 1a 220-240v ( i think these are relays ) it also has Vigirex and serial number 56137 on the box , i have found these on the internet and they are quite expensive , but what i wanted to know is does anyone know where i would sell these , i do always resell on ebay but ive seen other merlin gerin items not sell , so i was really just after a bit of advice from anybody who might know if these are saleable or not , any advice would be appreciated thanks

eBay. Some stuff sells, some stuff doesn;t. All depends if someone wants it. I've stuck loads of odd stuff on eBay and it's not got anywhere near the reserve but the day after it's been snapped up as a BIN. Chuck 'em on and see what happens.

Welcome to the forum not sure about what you are trying to sell maybe have a look on internet at there website. I would think the stuff you have got would only be needed by limited market. Personally I will not buy seconhand electrical gear as I have had a few rougue things from ebay that needed binning rather than selling.

You may find them hard to sell, they are old stock items and are ground fault relays if I remember rightly.

As Batty pointed with all electrical equipment there are safety issues. I would be concerned as to how you know if something is working and therefore in a suitable condition to sell if you don't know what an item is? What tests have been made to check the items are not damaged, dangerous or beyond their expected working lifespan ?

You've never been on eBay then? ;)
