That's a poly (plastic case). As Andy states above, you should be able to squeeze a 7Ah battery in if the inside of the panel is neat enough.

Trust me, the elite 24 (Plastic version) was designed to accept a 12v 7Ah battery.

Yes.
Depending on what you have connected to the panel it may not be enough for BSEN50131 but you will certainly get more than two hrs with the 7ah
