I've been thinking of getting a card machine for payments

Has anyone got any tips or advice, are they worth the cost? What is the cost? It would have to mobile

I'm probably taking

Ive got something on my phone that people can pay me via their phone somehow,

Barclays do it, but AFAIK others should be doing it soon too.

For our B&B business we have it set up on our website that you can pay with a card via PalPal.

It costs nothing to set up and no ongoing fees, but there is of course a fee deducted from every payment.

If you are not yet a member have a look at joining the Federation of Small Businesses [HQ in Blackpool] amongst free legal advice and loads of other things they have very favourable terms for Credit Card facilities. My Son joined them for this very reason. I have had more than my monies worth on the legal advice side alone......... :coat

I got some paper work from Barclays this week but we dont need it. There are quite a few apps & on line banking that cost nothing

Have got a barclaycard mobile card machine best thing I have got. Cuts down going to the bank having to wait a week for a cheque to clear. Cost me nothing to setup monthly fee is

I just give my bank details with the invoice and get customer to do a transfer as now the banks have to do any transfer in 2 hours or less no matter which banks they are.
