This is really stupid now. It doesnt comply because its a socket. They are the regs. No point posting comments, stupid scenarios or pictures as those are the regs. Sockets are not suitable for overload protection, end of story.

 
i think you better read the regs SLOWLY a socket can be used to give overlaod protection.

you cannot have current flow from a socket without a fuse and hence
