At one time when I was "well off" I used to spend three months of the year in Bavaria and Austria skiing, the roads as you can imagine, were always iced up and covered in snow.
I never had a problem driving in snow, after a few near misses at the begining I quickly got the hang of it. Unfortunately in this country we do not get that much of it, so no experiance is gained. When the weather is fine and clear we all drive like lunatics, so whilst I do get a little frustrated at the incompetance of some drivers in snow, I quite like the slow pace and carefull attitude towards other road users.
Let it snow is what I say.
