I think we are looking at weasel words on this one. I can't find the section on rcd discrimination but I'm sure it had a 'where practicable' bit in it. 544.1.2 on main bonding has 2 'where practicable's in it concerning where the main bond should be applied. As pointed out earlier, TT installations have 1 RCD and comply. As 15mm dia copper pipe provides a larger csa than 10mm cable, my solution would be to bond at the CU and note on the cert that this was the nearest practicable bonding point.
