Got to say,, if you do put photos of kit on there use photos of quality gear,,, not cheap tat!I can't see a problem with using equipment manufacturers photo's so long as you don't use them in a bad way... they'd probably see it as free advertising,, I have some.

I can't remember the thread exactly;) but don't link to another sites photos or lift copyrighted material
why?

dont really see any kind of issue with that, not even as an avatar,

steal away, you'll be fine, :D

Generic images for electricians are awfull, and often outdated. Your webby looks good, I would take the advise offered, as it can only improve on what is after all a first draft.

There are no copyright infringements I can see with stating any manufacturer, be it a tester or product, they love it, it is a free advert and an endorsement of their product. However a copy of your website given to any product provider, asking for permission to use it, can help avoid any legal actions being taken, I would say 100% of them would be happy that you endorse their product.

Well guys, thanks for all the advice. We are changing the pics, have put links to this beautiful forum and a couple of minor changes which should all be done in a day or two.

Hi Cirrus!

Long time no speak! Hope all is well with you, your family and business!

Your website looks great and regarding the comments about pics of coiled up cable and crappy tester pics? Personally I think that is nit picking. Your target market/audience is joe 'layman' public who wouldn't know nor notice these minor 'discrepancies' much more important and professional that your grammar and spelling is correct.

Hi Bane, good to hear from you. All is well at my end mate - hope things are good for you. Thanks for the heads-up on the typo's. I wrote the content a year ago in a hurry and never actually got around to using spell-checker!

As for the old guard, I have lost touch with everyone. Some may be lurking around on here but not sure.

Serious knit picking I know, but when you do the changes, can you pop in a full stop at the end of the Emergency Call out paragraph at the bottom of the Services page - pretty please.

Other than that, I think it's a great web site, I'd use you if I needed an electrician!
