Did anyone else go to the Tech Talk today in Plymouth?

And if so did you find it a big waste of time and

Is Home Automation a bit like REAL Automation, but without all the high current stuff, clever interfaces and thousands of points of IO & complex HMI's?

I was at that tech talk today it was a little lacking real usable information slightly helpful about the EICR's but that was about it I left before it finished as it seemed like it wasn't of much use and thought getting back to work would be more interesting (and it was). The offer of a free entry to the aquarium afterwards seemed quite nice but didn't use it and the mention of insure free parking was not well researched as in sure most people were upset having to pay and display. And for those who asked Tony was there with a selection of others.

Never go to the Tech Talks as all designed to take money from you. They say NIC is non profit making too!

How much do you value your services at? Cost that in and the whole day costs you dearly. If I saw TC I would probably stick one of his DVDs up his buckside!!
