Love the description, in what way is that secret :C (other than hiding it)

MK have about 30 different types of key and the secret is knowing which one,? :C

A Double Pole key switch could be the answer ... switching the permanent feed and the trigger wire with the neutral unswitched.    Or a DP spur unit knocking the light  & fan off for maintenance ...but hidden away somewhere.    Needs must  and you don't want to find mould etc building up if its your property. 

Trouble is theres always a way ,  I've seen fans stuffed with paper to stop them , with a burnt out motor and the same with fire alarm sounders in offices ......" Oh well we can't hear on the phone when they're tested "      Yeah  once a month for 10 seconds  :C

just dont do what ive seen many times - switch fused spur on perm live & neutral. SL unswitched and live when the light is on
