They will have to be single pole unless he has four spare ways but this is not a problem as the main switch gives your double pole isolation.

TT systems need double pole isolation and four pole on three phase supplies but this can be the main switch so as long as main switch is double or four pole regs are catered for. Certain installations like caravan parks jetties do need double or four pole RCD protection though.

Many Thanks All... Gonna leave the main switch and go with 2 x RCBO's .. much cheaper !! Got em both for

even dual splits dont fully comply - since a fault on one circuit taking RCD will effect another circuit. but its cost / inconvenience
