hi guys I am looking at a recycling plant rewire can anyone tell me the recommended light levels for a workspace with a forklift and machinery. also what light output per watt can i expect from fluorescent tubes? Also do the said tubes qualify as low energy as regards Building control?

how do you "read" SWA cable? IE i cant seem to find CSA, when I look at the info on the cable, Is there anothe way to tell the CSA?

Hi chaps I have been asked to connect a can compactor in a recycling plant I have been told it is a small unit (1100w) How should I connect this? I was thinking of running a 1.5 SWA to a BS EN 60309-2 socket then HO7RFN to the machine - which is movable. Is this OTT? Any other suggestions?
