Went the fan starts it will maintain itself due to the current it draws.

of course the supply to the fan would before the CT and the rest of the plant (I'am not an idiot have a lot of work to do before I become one)

That is a single tool, LVHP exctraction system, it is unsuitable for larger static woodworking machines such as would be found in a joinery workshiop which would typically have a minimum of 50mm (useless), more normally 75, 100, 125 7 150+mm extraction ports, and very often multiple ports.

These types of machine require HVLP systems, which that type of tool connected extractor is unsuitable to service.
