I know that if your phone is switched on , its position can be located, but does anyone know how accurate they can get. I imagined it was just within the cell you were in. I remember when the two young girls were missing in Soham , the police kept asking for the (possible kidnapper) to phone them with the girl's phone . Unfortunately it was too late .

Well it makes you wonder sometimes. The Sat-Navs use satelites owned by the US Gov. or is it NASA ?
