Landing a probe the size of a washing machine onto a moving comet  30,000,000 miles away after a 10 year journey.......................................COME ON   !!!!!!!!!   :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute :Salute

and we have serious involvement in th UK building stuff like this, shame we never kept up the rocket launching side of things and gave it all to the french who now mostly own and run ESA.

Tremendous achievment eitherway and so much better than X factor :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud :Applaud

Details a bit lacking but it didn't latch on to the surface, it bounced off about 1KM high before the weak gravity of the comet pulled it back

So it's still on the surface then? but not quite where they want it to be?

didn't see any double yellows - can I have the contract to go paint them :slap

firkin good effort either way, it's not like you can instantly adjust anything, takes about 30mins for signal travel. makes you realise how out of communication Fancis drake was when he first circumnavigated the world, or Columbus landing in America.

Latest plan is to use a 'science arm' to tip it back upright. Good luck and I really hope it works :popcorn

Unfortunately I hear on the radio today that they may not have much operational use as the batteries aren't charging due to it landed in the shadow. Sounds like a 5WW fitting solar panels, just forgot to have them aimed at the sun.
