Of course not! There's only 1 guarantee in life and I think we all know what that is...I won't be making that mistake again let me tell you. Already had 2 calls this week asking me to advertise in various publications which go out to "millions of people"

On a related note... is anyone else getting pestered by people wanting to sell you top billing on Google searches?

I've had about half a dozen calls recently from different companies all promising me the first result returned when potential customers search "electrician in Huddersfield". Some even start off as though they're looking to offer work first... really starting to p*** me off!

If yes do they offer any Advertising discounts?

lol... no, because I haven't got the time to get the website built at the moment, let alone the money or inclination to pay for lots of extra advertising.

I've done the rounds on this. Had calls from BT in particular which ended up almost abusive because the bloke was so pushy!!! It's too easy to cave in to these b888ards! Set your advertising budget and keep to it - and resist any calls from charities/good causes etc because they target new businesses - and don't have an eye to the future!!!! Sad but true!
