I know mate ;) I'm perfectly able bodied but I wouldn't like to climb on some steps to reach the CU if the lights trip.

That was my, tongue in cheek, point. :D
ye what the heck if the customers don't mind writing the cheque out to lower thier CU am not going to complain.

On the last job I've been to low level CU within kids reach, opened the UNLOCKED Cabinet 4 spare ways un-blanked, X( I Just had to point this out to the customer the risk that was involved and she had inquisitive kids running around.

She asked me to explain the risks

Explained as follows "100A @ 230-240 volts from the main Isolator,

She replied is that dangerous

Of-course I replied

Duh go figure

She said their was a council sparky in the week before to change a Socket on the D/S ring, im not pointing the finger, BUT.

What did he do replaced a damage socket. And failed to mention this.X(X( X(

Now do you see my point this could've been one of her kids.

Before you asked yes i did fit new blanking plates and put a child lock on the cabinet.
