Underfloor Heating Warming Much Slower

Hi All- I have just had some new thermostats for my electric underfloor heating installed and it seems to have resulted in it taking much longer to heat up. The floor was warm in about 20 mins with the old ones and is now taking over an hour. The brand changed from DeviReg to Heatmiser, but not sure that would make any difference.

The electrician who put them in doesn't have any idea why so any suggestions appreciated!

Why did you change it / them?

If you still have a working unit could you swap it back?

Are you using a floor sensor or an air sensor?

Logic says what you are experiencing shouldn't really happen
