as I say, if they just use the clerical error bit then there really isnt much more I can do about it,
its being investigated atm, and I just have to wait and see if it can be put down as something more serious,
the big problem is since the policy was taken out my wife developed a back problem and has had to have a couple of ops, so now she is uninsurable for any new policy!!!!!
Then Steps don't mess about, I have a complaint against RBS with the Financial Services Ombudsman at the moment, its easy, though you do have to exhaust banks own complaints procedure, unless there has been a serious violation and IMHO your last post indicates that there has.
I would contact the ombudsman and get them to investigate regardless of the bank.
You may well have a case as on the face of it they have been negligent.
