Odd booking process

So we've just booked a week away, in the Yorkshire Dales for October ............. 

however the booking process was a bit odd!

All agreed by email but we had to ask how much deposit they would like, and whether we could pay by BAC's - answer no

So a cheque has been sent off (took us a while to find the cheque book)

If you are running half a dozen cottages, why wouldn't you accept BAC's payments ???

I would have thought that BAC's payments would save the people a lot of time and hassle ..............
