interesting to see at least some of the guys that were way off being honest,

I suppose having, or at least having seen a Fluke box would have been a help with an idea of size,

when you have a AA in your hand and look at a box its probably easier to guess its gonna take a few hundred of these to fill it.

though remember guys, no one knew whether the padding was still in the box or not, or even the meter, nothing was said or implied IIRC.

I dont even think filling the box with batteries would have helped, what mix would you use? a C is about 4 AA a PP3 is about 2 AAA etc, add into that a lantern battery and you are well snookered, never mind theory's alarm that doesnt work anymore!
