fitted meters for a while , they go wrong very very very rarely. it could cost them money if they did.

i would say so , no need for two meters to one house. i would say there was a fault with the old clock because the newer meters would have built in time clocks that switch over automaticily and you set up with laptop( mind you i could never get them to set up properly).

go for it , always looks better being in a job than out of work. should be pretty interesting and could open some doors for you when you are out and about working. these doors could be getting into hvac ect or coming across a contractor that thinks yes i would give that hard working bloke a chance.

go and talk to your college and ask them about the replacement for the 2330 , i dont think you will be able to start it next year unless you already have.

as pro dave says check the timer , always worth checking a electronic meter as well they can be programmed wrong also. or not even set up properly. you have a little tool that talks to the meter you plug into your laptop when you install them , mine was always playing up and not letting me set...

my mate just did a course at bedford college, said it was practical and class room based. sat a written exam at the end which he said was quiet hard , has to wait for the result. one of the lectures from our college was there for the exam for a retake as he had failed the first time round ! ...

guilds are gash ? people keep saying its going to change to a module based system? if it is not a clue. visiting your college is your best bet , see what they say is happening and were to go .although if it is like mine there will be a waiting list so dont dordle get down there.
